What is the best style for adding footnotes please?

I am using Elsevier Harvard as the main style, but I have a couple of footnotes to add as well. Is there a way that I can do both?

Thanks for any advice on which style and how to install it would be very much appreciated.

Thanks.
  • You can't mix citation styles in a single document, no, though you can obviously just cite using Elsevier Harvard in a footnote (creating the Footnote with your word processor).

The most common style used for footnote references is the Chicago Manual of Style.
