Unexpected file upload status 500
HI Dan, hit this problem after updating my Zotero to 1.5a1r.4000. It's a bit odder than that though as first of all it tried to sync then it found four files that had "changed" because the time stamp was one hour different. Well this couldn't have been me as they were to the minute one hour different. But why just four? No idea. So I tried to sync again and hit this problem.
I remember you saying that 500 errors were server related but I don't see how / why as it's been running just fine.

I've emailed the debug output to support.

Does your server still pass the Verify Server test in the preferences?
Does it happen if you restart Firefox?
As for the hour-off timestamps, that's a problem that we haven't been able to reproduce, but a number of users on Windows (and maybe Linux, though that may be a different, similar problem) have encountered it. Basically, the mod time of the file that we set after download and the mod time that we later retrieve from the file are different, when of course they should be the same as long as the file hasn't been modified. It seems to be some sort of time zone issue, but that's pretty much all we've got. Anything specific about when/where/how you saved those four files that you can recall?
As for the four files - I can't really help here. I didn't note down which four they were. But they were fairly old files that I don't recall editing or even reading for some time. So I really can't help here.
If it happens again, I'll make a note of what they were and see if I can provide more info.
Regards,
jon.
