Workflow for downloading pdfs from web to zotero
I have been using the standalone version and wondered about the best workflow for moving pdfs from the web to zotero. Right now I download the file onto my computer, place it into a folder and then import it into zotero. Is there a way to do that without having to manually do those two steps? Perhaps there is a way to either (1) have zotero automatically sync with a computer folder? (2) or have it go directly into zotero?
I'm not sure how it works, but any suggestions would be great!
Also, is there a way to have a website be an entry in Zotero? I see blogs, but not websites.
Thanks,
Debbie

aurimasNot all sites support this, but importing via URL bar icon should also import the attachment. https://www.zotero.org/support/getting_stuff_into_your_library (you might need to install a browser connector/extension if you haven't yet https://www.zotero.org/download/ )

adamsmith(improvements on this are planned--we all realize how clumsy this is--but no ETA as of now).
