Updated Zotero, now locked out of my database
I synch Zotero across my work computer (PC) and laptop (mac) using the Firefox app. The Firefox app on my windows computer was no longer synching and I was getting an error message to update Zotero, so I did. I now have version 4.0.28.1. When I try to launch Zotero within Firefox, I get this error:
"This version of Zotero is older than the version last used with your database. Please upgrade to the latest version" - but the follow up message confirms that I am up to date.
I then did the same on my mac - updating to the latest version - and again I am *no longer able to access my Zotero database.*
I'm in full crisis mode as I am finishing the equivalent of my dissertation due on Monday, and I am fully locked out of Zotero, which has ALL my notes and bibliographic information.
Both my computers have the latest version of Zotero. I have restarted both computers. Why can I not access my database? Please help!
