Cannot find Zotero icon in Word toolbar

Hello,
After downloading Zotero standalone 4.0.27 for Mac, I do not find Word icon in Word toolbar.
My browser is Safari.
Thanks for helping me, I really need it.

    Given the fact that the icon in word toolbar doesn't appear, do you think that it might explain that zotero icon doesnt appear when I want to download citations in zotero library?
    when I surf on pubmed for exemple, I can't download medical citation that I need for working. My word version is 2011 and IOS is 10.9.5.

    no, those have nothing to do with each other. Note that the icon in Safari is to the left of the toolbar. It will always be visible when you have the Safari Extension installed.

    unfortunatly, this icone does not appear in the toolbar... I took a picture of my screen if U want to see it

    yeah, that'd be helpful. Upload to a free image hosting site and post the link here.
    And you have the Safari extension installed? Just Standalone won't be enough.

    the extension zotero connector 4.0.21 safari extension won't work...

    extension is downloaded but it s still not working. would it be more easier for me to upload firefox?

    sorry, we really need more details: "not working" as in you get an error message? Not working as in it doesn't show up as installed? Or not working as in it does show up as installed under Safari extensions, but you don't see the Zotero icon?

    If it's the last of those three, we'd like to see the screenshot -- upload to imgur or dropbox or anywhere else where we can see the image without downloading.

    Anyway just to be sure that we understand each other ( you notice I m not an informaticien) I have downloaded zotero, zotero extension and I still don t have the zotero icone on my toolbar on safari

    Ok, so as you can see, Zotero is not listed as an installed extension. Download the safari extension from https://www.zotero.org/download/ (right side) and install it following these steps http://michaelgracie.com/2014/05/how-to-manually-install-a-safari-browser-extension-like-adblock-plus/

    ok I tried to do the procedure

    I think you're supposed to drag the file over the extensions window, not a blank browser window. The wording is confusing.

    You should have Zotero Standalone open (the app you previously installed). Strictly speaking it is not required, since you can save directly to zotero.org, but having it open results in better Zotero experience.
