Can't enter text in box to add new article ISBN to library

I have been using Zotero Standalone for a while now. All of a sudden today, I can't type in the text boxes to add a new article to my library, neither can I type in the text box to search my library either. I was just using it a couple days ago and it was fine. I opened and closed the Zotero program several times and that didn't do anything. Can anyone help with this problem? Thanks!

    Can you take a screenshot that shows the issue, post it somewhere (Dropbox, imgur.com, etc.), and provide a link here?

    Actually, I solved the problem by restarting the computer. I guess I should have tried that first. Thanks.
