Cannot copy attachments across references

Trying to copy an pdf attachment to a neighbouring reference by drag-drop + CTRL. The mouse cursor nicely displays a plus indicating that I'm copying something, but the effect is only that of dragging. Besides, the dragged pdf often doesn't end up where the blue horizontal location indicator was (i.e. between the record and its first attachment); it sometimes ends up being a record on its own.

    the part about copying vs. dragging I can confirm (Zoter 1.09, FF 3.05, ubuntu 8.10)
    Not sure whether the second part is really a bug: if you drag the attachment onto the record and see the record highlighted it gets pasted as a child. In all other cases it becomes a seperate item. Does that really matter?

    It does matter insofar as the GUI suggests something different than what is happening. Note how the blue horizontal line is indented when dragging sth between a parent and a child; and that it is unindented (i.e. at parent level) when dragging between unexpanded records. In the first case, visual feedback thus suggests that whatever I'm dragging is going to be a child when I drop it. But it isn't.

    ok, fair enough. This problem only exists when dragging an attachment from one parent to another. Dragging independent notes/snapshots works exactly the right way (i.e. doesn´t show the indented line). Copying, however, works for neither.
