Citations and Reference List
I am having difficulty removing the author's first initial from an in text citation. I've gone back in and changed the initial several times, but the first initial continues to display.
I have two authors with the same last name; however, they have different first names and different works.
PLEASE HELP!!

adamsmithIn many styles (including Chicago and APA) that would be correct and expected behavior. If the works are in the same year, almost all styles would use initials to disambiguate. Why do you not want that? Which style?

DrPas13Thanks for your quick response. My URR noted the "first initial" as needing to be changed. I looked for a SPECIFIC reference statement in APA 6th Ed, but could not find anything SPECIFICALLY related to my issue.

adamsmithIt's definitely in APA, I'll get you the section & page number tomorrow.
