signing in with different username on standalone

I have Zotero standalone downloaded on multiple devices. Someone else's username (and library) is logged into my Mac. How can I remove the other person's login information from my Mac and log in with my username without deleting any data from either of our accounts?

    The risk is not so much deleting data as it is to add their data to yours.

    So here are the recommended steps to switch Zotero Standalone to your account

    1. Turn off automatic sync in the sync preferences
    2. Delete the other account information from the sync preferences.
    3. Find the Zotero data directory. Keep this folder open in Finder
    4. Close Zotero Standalone
    5. Move the data directory from 3.) to a different location on your computer (you can delete it later on if you're sure the other user doesn't need it or has a copy on another computer.
    6. Restart Zotero Standalone -- you will see a completely empty library with just the welcome to Zotero item
    7. Input your sync information and turn on automatic sync
    8. You're all set -- Zotero will sync your data (and if enabled files) to that computer.
