Is it possible to memorise university library details in Zotero account?
Hi,I am a relatively new user to Zotero, so I would appreciate help on this. Hopefully, there is already a known way to tackle my problem.
I have a research assistant in another country and I would like him to download PDFs of my library. However, I do not want to share my university log-in with him. Most of the papers require a university library log-in. If I give him my Zotero account details, can he download the papers without putting the university credentials?
Putting differently, is it possible to memorise the university library details in Zotero account?

This is an old discussion that has not been active in a long time. Before commenting here, you should strongly consider starting a new discussion instead. If you think the content of this discussion is still relevant, you can link to it from your new discussion.
If you want him to download the PDFs from databases, you can't use Zotero to remember any login data other than it's own -- but assuming that he'll be accessing the articles through some type of proxy, you may be able to use his browser's built-in functionality: You just type in the password once for a proxied article, set the browser to remember, and he should be able to keep using it.
I'd say this is more a question for your university IT department. If you have a research assistant, see if they'll give him proxy access. Zotero can help you share files, but it doesn't have anything to do with authentication with your proxy server.
They all run through different interfaces, though, so using "remember password" for the proxy would work if you just want to share that.
Similarly, using VPN and remembering the password would work.
This is really a question for the university IT department.
