Grabbing Citation from National library of Iran

Hi,
I have Zotero Standalone 4.0 installed on my PC and laptop and tried to use Zotero on national library of Iran catalog (www.nali.ir) For Garbing Citations. Despite Working on my PC, Zotero doesn't work on my laptop which is the same as PC in software and specifications. Could you please help me why it happens?
Thanks

  • impossible to say -- unfortunately I can't even get to the catalog on that site without Farsi. Tried the German site, couldn't get anywhere.

Omid Shams: When you say it "doesn't work", what do you mean? I can get to search results, but I don't get the Zotero address bar icon. If you're still getting the icon on your desktop, what does it say after "Save to Zotero" when you hover over it?

    Thank you
adamsmith: You are right. try this: [http://opac.nlai.ir/opac-prod/searchHomePage.do] the Zotero address bar icon doesn't appear when i want to grab the citation of a search result into zotero installed on my laptop.

Dan Stillman: Yes. exactly. the Zotero address bar icon doesn't appear on the laptop. By clicking the icon on my desktop, it says "save to zotero" and it does save. The thing is i have Zotero on the desktop from 3-4 years ago, but for laptop it's just a couple months.
  • By clicking the icon on mt desktop, it says "save to zotero" and it does save.
Right, but what does it say after that in the tooltip?
  • hovering over icon: Save to Zotero (Embedded Metadata)
After, By clicking on the icon: Saving to library
  • Can you provide an example search URL where you see that?

Hmm, I don't see any Embedded Metadata on that page. Someone else here might have an idea, but can you view the page source for that page, select all and copy it to the clipboard, and then paste the source into a Gist (secret is fine) and provide the link here? (If you can't access GitHub, any place where you can paste text will do.)
