Finding your user ID in Zotero Standalone

Hi!
Maybe I'm blind, but I have been searching everywhere and I can't find my user name or user Id in my Zotero Standalone. (I use Chrome as web browser)
The reason I need it is to synch with another device. The problem is that it turns out I had an old account connected to my usual e-mail adress, which I can log in to (the one I am currently using in this forum), but it only has my library from 3 years ago and none of my new references.

When I downloaded Zotero on this computer 2 months ago I apparently created a new account, but nowhere can I find what that user name or user ID is!!

    It's in the Sync pane of the preferences.

    So, I have a Swedish language setting, but I guess you mean the "Tools"-tab and then settings. There you have 7 panes: General, Sync, Search, Export, Refer(?), Short commands and Advanced.

    Indeed, under Sync there are two panes: Settings and Reset, but there are just two empty slots where I can enter User name and Password. It's nothing in there.
    Does this mean I am currently saving references to a library without having a User connected to that Library at all?

    Zotero always saves data to your own computer, and it doesn't require an account to be used. To sync, you need to enter a username and password in the Sync pane of the preferences.
