Not saving
Report ID 2053911851
I am unable to save articles using Standalone with Chrome; this just happened tonight (I was able to save a citation just a couple of days ago). The pop-up in the bottom right says "Saving to [collection name]" but the title of the article does not appear.
I also downloaded Firefox and installed Zotero for Firefox, but I'm having the same issue. It doesn't appear to be related to my university proxy (doesn't matter if I'm signed in or not). If it's relevant, I'm running Windows 8.1. Here's the link to the article I'm trying to save: http://archinte.jamanetwork.com/article.aspx?articleid=1857092
Thanks in advance!

zuphilipThis seems to be a problem on this journal page, because their RIS data is empty at the moment (click Get Citations, RIS (Zotero)). Can you confirm that saving to zotero is working on different websites, e.g. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/24710808 ?

jzuoThat worked! Thanks so much!

bigman118Any chance you could go into more detail? I'm having the same sort of problem.

adamsmiththere isn't much detail: the JAMA Network site is broken, which is why import into Zotero fails. Finding the same articles on pubmed works. If you have problems importing from any other site, pleas provide details in a new thread.

DWL-SDCAThere is an advantage to getting JAMA metadata from PubMed. That way you also get the PMID. Fortunately, the metadata from JAMA journals is available within hours of the articles availability on the JAMA site(s). It will be necessary to fetch PDFs from JAMA and connect them to the appropriate Zotero record. Zotero users are not the only ones who are frustrated by the JAMA site issues. The complaints from university library subscribers are growing louder with each passing week. Part of the benefit of a library subscription is to import metadata into bib management software. People are not pleased that metadata and PDFs are not seamlessly available.
