Search item: Show Subcollection

Hi,
If I search for an item in zotero, it doesn´t show me the subcollection of this item.
Is it my fault or is it Zotero that isn´t able to display the place of the item in my library?
  • That´s exactly what I was looking for! Thank you very much!
  • Using the ctrl-key shows the subcollection of the item. This is great. But this works only, if the subcollection itself is visible. So one has to open all subcollections with all the sub-subcollections in order to find the place of an item in a library.
If using the ctrl-key would mark not only the subcollection containing the item but also the higher level subcollections, it would be much easier to find the place of the item.
  • I completely agree with you, I would also encourage to mark the superior categories, optionally with a fold-out function (with automatic scroll-down?) to make the specific subcollection visible as well.

As this is my first post here: thank you all for the great tool, the good job you did and hello to all.
  • Auto-expand to subcollections before highlighting is now implemented in the latest 1.0 dev build. It'll be in 1.0.8.
  • What should I say? Thanks a lot! For this implementation, for the rest of zotero, for... :-))))
  • Thank you very much, Dan, that's great!
