Is there any reason why Staroffice8 is not compatible for the Oo3 plugin? Where can I follow the paths of Oo3 plugin?

    Not having tried it, I don't know for a fact that the OpenOffice plugins work with StarOffice. I presume they do, but don't quote me on it. Assuming that, though, I would imagine that your problem exists because StarOffice 8 is based on the source code for OpenOffice 2.0, not 3.0. StarOffice 9 is based on OOo3.

    The Zotero OpenOffice plug-in should work with OpenOffice 2.0. The problem is likely that StarOffice does not contain the Python bridge, which the plug-in needs to function.
