Subsequent citation and bilbliography errors
Hello, I have used Zotero in several documents now, and in one chapter I've had two problems:
1) Some but not all subsequent citations for a reference are in short form. I've double checked that I don't have duplicate entries in Zotero, refreshed Zotero, and deleted the 3rd entry (which is showing up in long rather than short form of Chicago), saved, closed the document, re-opened, and re-entered and it still comes up as a full note even though the 2nd entry is in the standard short form (author, short title, page number).
2) On this same document, when I tried to generate a bibliography, neither book nor journal titles were italicized. I've never had that happen in other bibliographies.
My only thought was that I copied and pasted in a large section from another document that had Zotero set for footnotes rather than endnotes, which is why I tried deleting the reference and re-entering, but if that were the problem, I would think creating a new entry should have solved the problem.
Any thoughts on troubleshooting?

for 1) press alt+F9 in Word and look at the Zotero URI for those citations (this will make sense after pressing alt+F9). Are they the same?
I believe so. I've copied and pasted what I think is the relevant URI section, and they are identical.
"citationItems":[{"id":393,"uris":["http://zotero.org/users/1282712/items/J6ASU9P7"],"uri":["http://zotero.org/users/1282712/items/J6ASU9P7

None of these are in a table or a caption? Those can mess with the position of items.
How about if you re-insert the item somewhere else? What happens?
I've pasted in the full citations below. I tried re-inserting the item elsewhere, and got a short form when I did it much later in the document as well as shortly after the 2nd citation. However, when I did it a paragraph before the troublesome 3rd (long form) citation it came up as a full note as well. So I think this must have something to do with me copying and pasting that section in from a separate document that was set to Chicago footnote (though the new ones showed up as Chicago endnote so I may be wrong there). I already tried closing Word completely and turning off / turning back on my computer in case it was somehow reading this off a clipboard [plus realizing it had been weeks since I had actually shut down] but it was the same result. Knowing though that this is probably some copy-paste issue though is reassuring since I'm not so worried about fine tooth combing the rest of my citations.

One thing you could try (though please make sure you have your doc saved in the unlikely case something goes wrong) is to change to a different citation style and back.
