zotero add-on for firefox

Is there a way to log out of one account in the add-on for Firefox and log into another account?

    no. All data is stored locally, the concept of "log in" and "log out" doesn't make sense for Zotero for Firefox (or Standalone).

    Ok, so here is my situation:

    I have account x and account y. I have the zotero add-on for account x. When I log-in on the zotero site for account y, I don't see all the same icons above my library, specifically, the "add a new group" icon. So, how do I access that?

    I mean - one question would be why you have two accounts. There may be valid reasons, but it's not something we'd generally encourage.

    But you can just add or join groups by logging in to either account on zotero.org.

    one is for work, the other is my personal account

    Part of the problem I am having is that when I logged in with account y, I created a new group, but am unable to transfer the contents of my account y library to the group within that account.
