How do I find my Zotero files

A few weeks ago my Mac crashed, so I had to get a new one. I was able to recover all of my files, at least that is what I thought. When I attempted to use Zotero on my new computer, all of my individual files were missing, but my group files were still there. How should I go about finding my old individual files?

    by "files" do you mean actual files -- i.e. attachments -- or Zotero items, i.e. the entry that holds all the information like author, title, year of publication?

    Essentially, I lost my entire collection of items under the "My Library" section.

    But I still have my collection under the "Group Libraries" section.

    can you see your library online, when you click on "My Library" at the top left of this page?

    If you were using Time Machine you you can easily restore everything or selected files.
