After account creation: "Error Server Error Something went wrong processing your request"

Hello,

something must have been messed up during my registration process.
Everything went fine, inlcuding the confirmation of my email address.
I could even update my account details. But whenever I'll try to click "MyLibrary" or "groups", the website is giving me the error message mentioned in the title.
I have installed the standalone application and the connector for the chrome browser. (the connector is giving me the same error)

Regards
Ingo
  • I have the same problem. Also registered today, verified email address and connected the standalone application, which seemed to be able to sync my library to the server.
    But large parts of the website are not working, like Ingo said. Creating API key for mobile app doesn't work either.
  • it seems that Zotero's server is having some trouble, I have the same problem with my classroom...
  • This should be fixed now.
  • Yes it is working now - Thank you!

    I had the same problem earlier today. (Windows 8 + Chrome browser) Now when I try to authorize it gave me the following error:
    [JavaScript Error: "Key verification failed with 200; response was {
    "key": "<removed>",
    "userID": 2371837,
    "access": {
    "user": {
    "library": true,
    "files": true,
    "write": true
    }
  • Where did you get that error?
    When trying to do what?
    Is that from a third party app (trying to authorize)?

    Now "API key could not be verified"
    [JavaScript Error: "Key verification failed with 200; response was {
    "key": "<removed>",
    "userID": 2371837,
    "access": {
    "user": {
    "library": true,
    "files": true,
    "write": true
    }
    }
    }"]
  • @fcheslack
    I got it while trying to authorize the zotero add-on in the chrome add-ons(or extensions(my chrome is in Turkish)>zotero>options>Authorize
  • alright. I can reproduce. Looking into it.
  • Problems authorizing the connectors should now be fixed. Let us know if not.
  • Yep, it is. Thank you.
