Zotero 4.0.26.1 incompatibility with FF 3.6.9

I'm trying to download Zotero for Firefox in my MacBook Mac OS X ver. 10.6.8 but I can't do that. Pop it I can't install because Zotero 4.0.26.1 is incompatible with FF 3.6.9 last update. I try to disinstall all FF plugins but nothing happened. Some people can help me?

    Is that a typo? Firefox 3.6.9 was released in late 2010. Current version is 36.0.1

    3.6.9 is almost five years old. Why would you be using that??? Zotero requires Firefox 31 or newer.

    Thanks a lot. I really work with Chrome, not FF. Strange but when I check to update in FF tab no new versions available said. Now I'm download 36.0.1 in site and hope it will work.

    you don't need Firefox for Zotero: You can use the Standalone version and the Chrome connector. See www.zotero.org/download for details
