Author last name displays as elipsis in right panel

Hi,
I've noticed that when I open the right panel, instead of the author field displaying as Lastname, Firstname (for instance Smith, Ronald)

the Lastname field displays as elipsis by default (for instance ..., Ronald)

Is there a setting or preference so that the default display can be like the first example above, not the second?

    I can't replicate this - this is for all authors? Which OS? Which Zotero version?

    Yes, it is for all authors.
    I am using Windows 7 and Zotero 4.0.26.1

    It seems to me that the authors names were displaying properly yesterday.

    ah yes, seems like that'd happen with a very narrow right-hand pane. Just make it a little bigger, that should do it.
