record internet media finds by medium, not as 'web page'

Hello. I am in need of some wisdom about how to enter book titles i find on the internet as books, and not as 'web page' as is the default. I will find a title on worldcat or Amazon, and it is entered in my library as a web page. Is there any way around this? Thank you for your opinion and experience.

I think you must be confused about how to get items into your library. For sites like WorldCat or Amazon, you should always get a full bibliographic item of the right type by default.

Do you mean that you click the URL bar icon and Zotero imports books from Amazon as web pages? E.g. http://www.amazon.com/The-Wealth-Nations-Adam-Smith/dp/1604598913

Thank you much. I hadn't used the system in a long time and forgot about the icon in the URL bar. Now I can accurately enter titles. Thank you again!
