Please help! Changing language doesn't work :( (even after following instructions in the docs)
I have to admit: I'm about to despair here.
I installed Zotero a few days ago, loving it in general, and particularly the fact that I could sync across devices - saves me lugging my heavy laptop around! Browser integration also great - I felt the move from EndNote was absolutely warranted. BUT - I write i two languages.
First, let me say that I *have* researched the documentation, the forums and on the web in general about this issue. The problem is that I feel I've tried to do everything I found; follow all instructions. I have even switched standard browser to Firefox, and left Chrome behind in Zotero's wake, as I thought that might help.
1) My OS language is Norwegian.
2) My browser language is Norwegian.
3) The Zotero interface in the browser plug-in display Norwegian 90% of the time (a few strings are in English but I presumed they simply hadn't been translated yet)
4) The interface in Zotero Standalon displays the same mix, but predominantly Norwegian.
5) The language string for the bibliography language in the config files (both in browser and standalone) have been set to nb-NO for both.
6) Both config files have been edited to accept the OS language as default (Norwegian)
7) I have uninstalled and reinstalled and started from a clean slate several times shile attempting to set these settings.
...but it still doesnt work :(
Not if I use standalone. Not if I uninstall standalone and only work from the browser extension.
Author1 AND anthor2, p. x SHOULD be Author1 og author2, s. x. Bibliography has "in" instead of "i", "ed." instead of "red." etc.
I have spent precious, deadline-looming panicking, hours on this today, and I am very close to just switching back to EndNote. But I like Zotero so much better that I'm holding back...
Can anyone help?
