Error because went over the limit

I use Zotero on 3 computers. I downloaded a pdf file (did not check how big it was 3,5 gb pdf file). Went over the limit and bought more space and deleted the file. 2 computers were OK but my laptop reports an error. It syncs but is always stoping and trying to sync, and it refers to this file which was extremely big 3,5 gb. and I have deleted, but still hangs on the laptop/is stuck to zotero somehow. I have now 2 gb storage and use around 12%. How can I free zotero on my laptop from this ghost pdf file? Thank your yours truly, Þorsteinn
  • have you emptied your Zotero trash?
  • No, thank you very much. It did the trick. Your were quick in responsing thank you again. kv. ÞHj.
  • Perhaps we should improve PDF download progress indicator to display total PDF size if available and provide a mechanism to cancel the download. This is obviously a very extreme example, but we've seen other cases where PDFs could be 100MB or so
  • We definitely need a download progress indicator, and the ability to cancel would be nice, but I haven't ever come up with a great place for it in the UI.

I mean, for progress, we could use the same mechanism we use for file downloads — the pie animation in the attachment column — but that doesn't show the total size or give the ability to cancel. But we could do that and put the download progress/size in the context menu (size info in gray, with a selectable option to cancel), or we could do something in the right-hand pane.

But a more obvious place for current downloads might be better.
