Cannot save new items in My Library anymore

Hello,

I have been unable to save new items in my Library for about 2 months. When I click on the new item button, I see a message "saving a new item," then nothing happens. I found a forum Report ID: 621365106 in which people discuss similar issues, but in my case, I cannot add items from any sources (but I usually go to the ABI/INFORM, Google Scholar, etc. to locate articles).

I checked on the Add-On in the Firefox, and it seems fine. I also downloaded Zotero again to see if this might resolve the issue, but the problem persists.

Currently, my Library has about 1900 items (69% of the storage).

Could anybody know what to do? Thanks in advance.

    Hi have the exact same issue here! I would also like some advices. I my case, I add the Zotero for Chrome + Zotero standalone, but then I downloaded Zotero for Firefox, and this is where it stopped working...

    Let's keep these two issues separately so you don't confuse each other in (the rather likely) case that you don't actually have the same underlying problems. So Myriam, please start a new thread after running through these: http://www.zotero.org/support/troubleshooting_translator_issues
    and include the information requested under 11.

    t_onishi - I'd ask you to run through the troubleshooting under the same link, confirm your Zotero and Firefox version and provide a couple of URLs as requested in the last step. Also, when you see "Saving Items..." does the title of the items come up or not?

    adamsmith -- I run trouble shooting, and couldn't find anything wrong. My Firefox version is 35.01 and should be the latest version (so is the Zotero version as I reinstalled it this morning), except History under the Firefox Preferences-Privacy; it was "Never Remember...," but I changed it into "Remember."

    But, the problem still persists. I can add new items from some journal sites (such as http://org.sagepub.com/content/13/5/627.short), but not from other sites (such as http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0048733311000175). I don't see the title of an article when I cannot add the item.

    if all other major pages (like google scholar, JSTOR, Sage) work for you, you're all set. You can subscribe to that thread (click on "subscribe discussion" at the left while looking at it) and we'll post there when we have news.

    I have the same issue here. Can't save items to my library only on a few journals including Science Direct.

    for sciencedirect see above. If there are any other journals, you'd have to tell us which.
