I can't save pdf documents from my uni homepage https://www.ilias.uni-koeln.de/ilias/ilias.php?baseClass=ilrepositorygui&reloadpublic=1&cmd=frameset&ref_id=1
Please help :(

    that's a password protected site, so we can't say much, but what exactly are you trying to do and what is happening? What is on that page once you're logged in?
    (feel free to write in German if that's easier).

    You're running out-of-date version of Zotero (4.0.24.1) that isn't compatible with Firefox 35. Upgrade to the latest version. If you're still having trouble after that, provide another Report ID and additional details.

    @Dan Stillman what should I update ? Did u mean firefox ? Maybe I'll try this first
    @adamsmith what I'm trying to do are to save pdf documents which are hosted on the homepage while I'm logged in. I need them for my list of references to wirte a seminar paper.
    (Auf der Uni Hompage (während ich eingelogged bin), sind pdf Dokumente hochgeladen, die für meine Hausarbeit brauche und in zotero vermerken möchte, aber beim abspeichern, erscheint ein kleines Fenster, indem steht Fehler aufgetreten, pdf konnte nicht abgespeichert werden. )

    @fcheslack thanks, know my other has been solved, I can save from amazon books
    but I can't still save nothing on the homepage of my university :/Maybe zotero doensn't work on password saved websides :/

    when you're looking at the open PDF in Firefox, open Zotero and click the "Create Web Page Item from Current Page" button in the Zotero. That should import the PDF.
    You'll then need to run retrieve metadata:
    https://www.zotero.org/support/retrieve_pdf_metadata
    or manually add citation data.
