Firefox browser contantly encounter 'no response'

I am using Firefox 31.4.0esr and Zotero 4.0.25.2, whether adding tags or editing note, always encounter few seconds browser no response, up to 10 more seconds each time and very frequent.

Anyone meet this before? Please share and help.

Does Zotero consum much memory? My PC has 2GB memory.

    Try minimizing the tag selector on the left. Does that help?

    I tried, close the tag panel did not solve the problem.

    My library size around 2.3GB, free space over 30GB on my hard drive. 512 items total.

    It looks when I use firefox browser with zotero, this 'no response' happens. Using browser alone is fine.

    You're at your file sync quota. If you mean that these freezes happen approximately 15 seconds after you make changes, that's Zotero repeatedly trying to upload all your unsynced files and failing. It should and will be better about that, but if you don't want to upgrade your storage or use WebDAV, you should disable file syncing from the Sync pane of the Zotero preferences.

    That is the point. After I disable sync, the freezes gone.
