control F inside a generated report

I just started using Zotero standalone as per some of you guys' helpful requests. I've had a lot less problems with bugs than I did running it through Firefox. But there is one thing missing. When I used Firefox and I opened up an attached note by generating a report, I could use control F to find certain words or phrases that I was looking for. When I generate a report from a note in the standalone Zotero however, it opens the report in its own page and doesn't respond when I hit control F. If I go up to the edit menu, I see that the Find shortcut is control F...but nothing happens when I select it on the edit menu either. Can anyone offer any help with this? Thanks!

    I confirm that even now Zotero Standalone does not allow to use the "find" function (control F) within generated reports. Please, do help us! Reports are extremely important, for instance in order to find recurrent names or expressions withing large body of texts, copied as notes to Zotero items.
