zotero standalone sync

i have downloaded zotero standalone on my new laptop. when i login on my browser i can see my library but when i use the same password to login on the zotero window it says i have used something wrong. whats happening?

    If it says your username or password is incorrect, that's most likely the case.

    If there's some other problem, you'll need to provide more details, along with a Report ID.

    I'm having the same problem. I just manually logged in online and then tried to login to my standalone to sync my libraries to my new computer and it states my UN/PW is incorrect.

    and you have re-entered your password in the sync settings?
