Accessing a library using private key?
Hi everyone!
I'm sorry if this is a somewhat silly question, as I'm still quite new to Zotero! My supervisor has asked me to transfer her bibliography to Zotero and has already made a start with it, so she gave my a private key code so that I could access her library and continue with this work. However, I can't seem to figure out where it is that I need to insert this key, so that I can open up and add to her library! Can somebody please explain what I am missing here?
Thanks a lot! Best wishes,
Stephen

This is an old discussion that has not been active in a long time. Before commenting here, you should strongly consider starting a new discussion instead. If you think the content of this discussion is still relevant, you can link to it from your new discussion.
Upgrade Storage
You basically have two options:
1. Your supervisor gives you her username and password for the zotero.org account. Then you can sync the library to your computer and work on it.
2. Your supervisor creates a group, which you can join with your personal account. You can then add items to the group and, if she wants to, she can drag items from the group to her personal library. The only limitation there is that if you're interested in amassing a large collection of PDFs, you would have to pay for Zotero storage in order to sync them using the group library. (there is actually a cumbersome but free way to avoid this, but I would not recommend it)
