New PLOS reference style?

The PLOS journals have changed their reference style and now use the NLM/ICMJE style. I found a NLM style in the Zotero repository. On a quick glance, it looks to be close to but not exactly the required format. Has anyone used it or are making a new PLOS style file?

    We're working on a new PLOS style -- do you know if this is across the board or just for some PLOS journals?

    As far as I understand its for all of the journals. Here's a few links:

    The style is now updated. The updated version will appear on the repository within 30mins (check the timestamp). Update your copy of the style by clicking "Update Now" in the General tab of the Zotero preferences.

    Styles also update automatically within 24hs for Zotero 4.0+
    In an existing document, you may have to switch to a different style and back for the changes to take effect once the style is updated.

    Hi,
    I also need to do a revision of a Plos one paper
    I did not find the updated NLM talked about in this thread
    also I noticed that in the current NLM style, journal names from social sciences (as opposed to medical journals) are not abbreviated as in the NCBI database.

    anyone could offer help?

    Mine updated automatically. Go to Preferences> Cite > Styles and look for 'Public Library of Science.' Mine has a date of 1/23/2015. I think the PLOS ONE style is just a reference to this style so the plos one style does not need to be updated.

    yes, exactly. All PLoS styles on zotero.org/styles are correct and up to date. Only the "Public Library of Science" style has a new timestamp.

    that's incorrect. The style abbreviates all journal titles. If you're using the word processor add-on, Zotero will use a list/algorithm for that. If you're not using that, it will use whatever is in the journal abbr. field.

    Maybe it is irrelevant what style is used for a submission to PLOS one as their reference style ( in publised articles) is a mess anyway. Seems they employ different styles and these inconsistent.
