How to make Zotero chrome connector recognise web report

Hi, I'm wondering is there a way to make Zotero chrome plugin automatically or manually recognise a web report like this.

http://www.euro.who.int/__data/assets/pdf_file/0004/193108/REVIHAAP-Final-technical-report-final-version.pdf?ua=1

So frustrated to have to type in the details in Zotero standalone every time when I need to save a web report.

Thanks
  • drag the pdf to Zotero, then run "Retrieve Metadata"
    https://www.zotero.org/support/retrieve_pdf_metadata
  • Thanks, I tried this method for the report in my post and another report. However one report wasn't recognised and another one was indexed wrongly. So it doesn't seem to be a very robust way or is it just my bad luck.
  • It's not super robust, but it's the best there is unless there's a WHO webpage that provides structured data for these. How do you find them?

Zotero is never able to interpret just the PDF on a page--there's no data it could import--so if there's going to be an import button it's always going to be on the page that links to the PDF, say an abstract view or so.
  • there is an webpage linking to this report:
    http://www.euro.who.int/en/health-topics/environment-and-health/air-quality/publications/2013/review-of-evidence-on-health-aspects-of-air-pollution-revihaap-project-final-technical-report
but how do I save it as a report rather than a webpage?
  • you can't - Zotero relies on the metadata on that webpage. It's minimal in this case, so you basically just get title and URL.
If you look at the WHO's IRIS catalog, e.g., you'll see better data.
