Search webpage snapshot using other languages

I am not sure this is a disfunction or just a bug. It works well to search the content of webpages' snapshots using English when you type in searchbox, but cannot work when I use Chinese. Maybe the coding of Chinese makes this happen? Wonder what the mechanism is.
Zotero is the most convenient webpage collector and organizer I've ever used, sincerely hope this feature will be supported.

    To Dan:
    You may try this:
    1. Open: http://zh.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mozilla
    2. Save as Zotero webpage snapshot
    3. Open Zotero
    4. Try to search 'Bugzilla', then you can see this item matched
    5. Try to search '臭虫', the Chinese characters next to 'Bugzilla'. On my computer, item will not be matched in both Zotero Firefox and Standalone.

    For what it's worth, this works fine on my end. Can you copy-paste the characters from this page into the search box instead of typing them in? Does that make a difference?

    So soon.
    I did have tried copy & paste already before I posted. Even use Zotero's Chrome plugin. It really confused me that it works for you.

    Perhaps my OS(Windows 7 zh-cn) did this weird thing. But I still tried another webpage collector addon 'Scrapbook', It works well for searching. Seems that Zotero is not totally compatible with Chinese character coding.

    Interesting... So if I add the snapshot via Firefox (attach snapshot of current page), then I get the same behavior as described by CommonCarp. If I add the Snapshot via Chrome connector (into Zotero in Firefox), then index the Snapshot (because it's not indexed automatically it seems), then it works. Re-indexing the Snapshot added via Firefox also makes it work.

    CommonCarp, click on the attachment, then on the refresh button next to "Indexed: Yes". Does that make it start working for you?

    Because my zotero follows firefox, the UI is Chinese, I'm not sure which button you mean. Lucky I understand what you've just done.
    Good news is that re-indexing all database ( in setting menu ) works.

    So this is a bug. Zotero cannot index Chinese automactically.

    You know, before I start this topic, I have tried the button 'index which is not indexed'(not sure for the name) and it failled. Just forgot to use 're-index all' button.
