Troubles to drag files IN Zotero

I use Zotero on several computers, with XP, Windows 7 & Windows 8, using the latest version of Firefox. On the PC with Windows 8, I have problems to drags pdf files TO Zotero (and not FROM Zotero). When I do that, I get a error message "You cannot do that on your PC" (translated from French), I ignore the message and it usually works (I get my file in). But sometimes it doesn't and Firefox crashes.
Can I do something about it? Michel-jean (happy Zotero user, it changed my life!)

What's the exact message? (It's always better to provide the exact message, untranslated, when reporting problems.)

Try going into your Zotero data directory, deleting the pdfinfo* and pdftotext* files, restarting Firefox, and then going to the Search pane of the Zotero preferences and reinstalling the PDF tools.
