My zotero own server?
Hi,
I'd just like to know if the development of a private zotero sync-server is still on the roadmap, as mentionned in last july in this forum.
This feature is crucial for my institution and my group to implement zotero.
In case, could you give an approximate deadline or revision ?
Thanks a lot in advance.
Best,
Gérald.

This is an old discussion that has not been active in a long time. Instead of commenting here, you should start a new discussion. If you think the content of this discussion is still relevant, you can link to it from your new discussion.
I would like to be able to share notes with the rest of my team, but using a public server would require me to go against our IT policies.
Why are the server component of zotero not being developed as an open source project, when the client is?
Will the server components of the new zotero sync system be made open source, or if this is not possible will specifications be made public so it could be re-implemented?
Not everyone wishes, or is allowed, to use an external service to store their research information.
