spam accounts showing up on google searches

Separate thread for this since it's slightly different from the forum spam issue:
When you google Zotero and restrict to, e.g., the last 24hs, you get a lot of spam user accounts (for sports stuff, TV downloads, etc.) I thought we already did something (like a no bots or so?) to prevent Zotero user pages from being attractive for spammers. Anything we can do about that?

    All the links are nofollow, but that doesn't seem to deter them, and automatic detection has too many false positives to let it work automatically.

    I hope to roll out something closer to forum moderation style controls soon after the new site with vanilla 2 launches.

    too bad. Thanks for the reply. Let's hope Vanilla 2 is indeed able to reign this in somewhat.
