How to create item type database

I need to cite a database, but do not see an item type for database. Any suggestions which surrogate item type would work with most styles?

The database I need to cite has a front end webpage, http://www.epa.gov/ttn/chief/net/2011inventory.html, but the item is certainly not a webpage.

we'll get a dataset item type eventually, but until then, just pick whatever works for you in terms of how the citation looks. I mostly use webpage or report for datasets, depending on their nature. Would probably use webpage for this one.

These messages are 6 years old and still no dataset or database item type, but we have "podcast", "interview" and "email". Zotero is starting to look very poor in comparison with Mendeley

That's an odd statement given that Mendeley doesn't have an item type for data/database either.

FWIW, see https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/item_types_and_fields#additional_item_types_and_fields on how to enter datasets as Zotero items. The information will be automatically migrated once the item type is introduced in Zotero.
