Upgrade Storageautomatically downloading same file again and again using IDM

soon after start using zotero, once logged out and uninstalled zotero from my pc to see how the file sync works.
there was no problem i installed logged in again and synced.
all was fine till this point.
but then i observed that auto sync was not working. i thought i was due to the ISP as my ISP blocks many such services.
Later i deleted all objects in my library from the stand alone and Mozilla plugin version and created a new library and did a manual sync which took a lot of time but in the end i had clean slate on both standalone and plugin.
Mozilla update came and after updating i reinstalled the plugin logged in, auto sync started working.
now the problem is that the last pdf file that i have saved keeps on prompting me again and again for download via idm.
i have tried downloading 3-4 times but this doesn't stops it keeps asking.
i can post the URL link from which it is downloading again and again.
help will be really appreciated as this prompting does not let me concentrate while i am writing
