Unable to sync my Standalone Zotero and to send error message to developers. This is the full message:

    If you don't know that, you should get an expert to check over your computer since it's been taken over by the worst kind of malware and Fiddler is just a symptom. As things are now, every bit of information you send over the internet, including all passwords, credit card information, etc. should be considered compromised. Issues with Zotero sync are the least of your problems.

    I noticed the problem with Zotero stand alone synch after installing a new DSL (Vodafone) station which also has parental control and other features, could this be related to the problem?

    I certainly hope not. No reputable enduser software would install Fiddler on your computer. But this is really way beyond what we can troubleshoot here. You can try a more generic forum, probably one specialized on malware, or (and I'd really recommend that) find an expert--either a friend or a professional--to take a look at this.
