Zotero Chrome does not complete loading Google Book data

Starting yesterday, 12-10-2014, clicking the Zotero connector (4.0.21) icon in Chrome (Version 39.0.2171.71 m) results in notification of "loading" which never completes on Windows Vista with Zotero standalone (version 4.0.23).   • Correction: notification is "saving to" not "loading"

    Have you tried disablign all other Chrome extensions? Zotero hasn't changed - neither the connector nor the software - for a while, so it'd be puzzling why you suddenly see a problem.
    edit: never mind the 2nd question then.
  • Update your translators in Zotero via Preferences -> General -> Update Now, restart Chrome and try again. Should be fixed now. The first error in that screenshot is still a bit odd, but it doesn't look like it's preventing from saving items.

  • There are no errors in the console log now.
