trying to create bibliography from zotero not from citations

Hi:

I am trying to create a bibliography of old items in a zotero folder, 314 entries:
*I do not want to create it based on notes in a document, I just want the 314 entries alphabetized in a Word document.
**when I try select all and export all I get are whatever 25 entries are on the page of the bibliography I am currently on at that time?

Isn't there functionality to just create a bibliography in a blank word document with all the items you have in a zotero folder/bibliography? Thanks, PJ

    You can only do this in the Zotero software, not on the Zotero webpage. Install Zotero: http://zotero.org/download/

    And this will work the way I answered in your original thread:
    select all --> right-click-->create bibliography from selected items.

    I have done this and click on right click - and I don't get a pop up menu, no where to click create bibliography

    I'm almost 100% sure you're still on the webpage, not in the Zotero software. To be absolutely clear: Zotero is _not_ a web app. You need to install and use software to take advantage of many of its features. Once installed, nothing you do in Zotero will typically happen on a webpage. It will all happen in the software itself, whether it's the standalone program or the Firefox add-on. Which of the two do you have installed?

    I am definitely in stand alone, I know the difference...this is within the stand alone.

    OK, click on the gears icon (the one to the left of the green plus sign) at the top. What options do you see?

    OK, that looks good. And when you select an individual item in the middle panel and right-click it, you don't get a context menu? Nothing happens?

    thanks, that is right, I select all items, right click over that list and I get no context menu, nothing.

    Also, what happens when you right-click on a single item in the middle pane? What about when you right-click on a collection in the left pane?

    Can you provide a screenshot of where you're right-clicking (post it on Dropbox, Imgur, et.c and share a link)? Also try disabling any other addons you may have installed in Standalone (if any). We've just never seen this issue before, so looking at obvious culprits first.

    Thank you all for your help, none of your suggestions worked in this case, but I tried the same steps from a desktop PC and got the content menu and was able to get my bibliography into Word...on my Macbook, the steps above were all fine, but never produced a comment/dialog box that gave me an option to export the bibliography.

    Are you sure you have your mouse/trackpad set up to use right-click as right-click on Mac? I don't think that's the default. Otherwise you need to use ctrl+click to get a right-click effect.
