Style Review Request: Council of Science Editors (Name-Year) to include MBE journal

Hi,

I would like to update this style (http://www.zotero.org/styles/cse-name-year) to work with Molecular Biology and Evolution journal style.

1) <bibliography hanging-indent="false" et-al-min="10" et-al-use-first="10">
shoud be upadated to show only first 3 authors if more than 10
- something like this (<bibliography hanging-indent="true" et-al-min="10" et-al-use-first="3">)
2) Is there a way to count number of authors like in example
(>10 co-authors): Wilson R, Ainscough R, Anderson K, et al. (55 co-authors). 1994. 2.2 Mb of contiguous nucleotide sequence from chromosome III of C. elegans. Nature 368:32-38. (Please note that 55 includes all authors of the article.)

Sincerely,

Martin
  • I'll take a look at 1), the answer for 2) is no.
  • The style is now up. As I said, 2) can't be done atm.
  • Hi, I would like to modify the CSE citation (sequence) style so that [accessed:##] field is not present for journal articles. Not all of my entries have an access date, so the inconsistency between entries is problematic. I have tried some unsuccessful edits, can anyone help?

    Thanks!
