Upgrade StorageChrome Connector Incompatible with Zotero Standalone v.4.0.23
I recently installed Zotero Standalone v.4.0.23 on my new Macbook air. I have also installed the Chrome connector available through the link to the chrome webstore from Zotero's site. Chrome states that the Zotero connector extension is installed and enabled, but the icon almost immediately disappears from my browser.
Is this a problem of compatibility? I notice that the Zotero connector for Chrome is v.4.0.21. I have Zotero Standalone v.4.0.23. Please advise on how I may fix this problem. Thank you.

I still drag and drop URLs and PDF files but it's not the same.
Test on something like http://elifesciences.org/content/3/e03422 (WorldCat seems to be experiencing problems)
Edit: I should note that Zotero Standalone and Chrome Connector versions don't have to match. The versions you post above are compatible.
