Firefox plugin...

Hi all,

does anybody know why the zotero plugin for firefox has dissapeared?????
  • Is it still listed under tools--> add-ons-->extensions?
  • Nop

    Just faded away.....

It may have dissapeared after a firefow upgrade. I´ve searched into the official firefox repository webpage and it also vanished....

Does it happen the same to you???

    Im running Firefox 33.1....
  • No, works just fine for me and likely everybody else (otherwise there'd be more complaints). You can just re-install it from zotero.org/download -- that should normally include all your existing data, otherwise we can troubleshoot that.
  • Well.... I just can´t.....

The download apparently works but .. . . when it´s about to finish (+/- 5 Mb) ... it suddenly stops....

Nevermind, I may have something wrong with this computer but.... also note that the Zotero plugin has dissapeared from the Add-on Firefox Official Webpage.....
  • Zotero hasn't been on the mozilla add-on pages for almost two years, since version 3.0.11 I believe.
  • I surely have a problem with my computer.

I will try to know what´s going on here....

    Thanks Adam!

    ;)
  • Hello again,

    got it!

I´ve downloaded the plugin with Internet Explorer: zotero-4.0.24.1.xpi

Later on.... opened it with firefox....

    that simple....

I post it here... just in case someone ever has the same problem!!

    See u soon!!
  • Well, that still suggests that there's something seriously wrong with your Firefox setup, though it seems more like a network issue and you just got lucky with the IE download. Are you having issues downloading large files in general?
  • No, well not so far........

You´re right, I couldnt complete the download with Firefox, but I have no problems with other files or even Firefox add-on complements.

One of these big computerized misteries..... :S

Anyway... It seems to work now.
