collecting citations on mac
I recently switched from pc to mac and am having trouble getting zotero to work in the way I'm used to. I've downloaded zotero on the new computer and imported my citations. I've downloaded the safari connector multiple times, but no icons are offered to collect citations. What am I missing?

adamsmiththe Zotero icon in the Safari connector is to the left of the URL bar. It will always be visible, greyed out on unsupported pages. Do you see that? If not, make sure extension is listed as installed in Safari

bcurransFound it! Thanks. I thought it would be where it is in firefox. Is there a way to have my library open when I add a citation so that I can check it?

adamsmithYou should install Zotero Standalone if you don't have it already. You can have that open, obviously - it won't technically be in your browser, but it'll be open at the same time and you can always adjust the windows accordingly should you want to.

aborelOr you could install Firefox on your Mac, if you're more comfortable with it than with Safari...
