importing entire library without breaking links to files

I need to import a complete library of my former student, but I run into a problem with broken links to file attachments. I have the library in the rdf format as well as the original library folder (zotero.sqlite). Is there a way how to import this data correctly and not lose the links to attached files?

    If you're importing from RDF, there should be an accompanying "files" folder where the files would actually reside. Importing via RDF would allow you to import all the references into a new collection within your library.

    If you want to "import" from sqlite, you actaully can't, but what you can do is create a new Zotero profile (by either creating a new profile for Zotero Standalone or Firefox, same instructions) and then restore the sqlite file as per instructions here. Note that all the file attachments reside inside the "storage" folder that should accompany the sqlite file. Both have to be restored.
