PNAS style problems
Hello people,
I have just started with Zotero and I think I will love it. I have loaded all my pdfs and retrieved their metadata.
Now I am writing the references section of my research manuscript, for PNAS, and I would like to drag and drop the references into a word document and have it appear in the PNAS style. I have downloaded the PNAS style (I think) from the webpage and put it as the "default output format" in the "Export" tab.
However, when I drag items into a word document, I find:
1) the number for each reference is at the far right of the sentence (its formatted to align text to right) and the reference appears on the next line. Strange!
2) each item appears with different size, font, etc...
Does anyone else have this problem? Is this a bug?
I'm sure there is away around this...
Thanks in advance!!!
Diego

I have tried this and the formatting seems to have been fixed.
But... is the output format always RTF??? Is there a way to output to word directly?
Even if I use the RTF output, I am having more problems. Some references appear perfectly in Zotero, but when I try to put them in an RTF file in the format "{Yokoyama, 2011}" for example, and run the RTF scan, in the "verify cited items" window, THEY DONT APPEAR !!! while other references in the exact same format do appear... and some say "unmapped citations".
What could be the problem???
Now (at least for the last couple of years) PNAS wants the ISSUE NUMBER of the journal where the article is published in parenthesis !
Of course Zotero has this info but the CSL needs to be updated !
I have found another error in the PNAS style:
The name of many journals are incorrect:
For example, PNAS itself, must be cited like:
"Proc. Natl. Acad. Sci. USA" (Correct style)
But as of now, ZOTERO cites as:
"PNAS" (Current style)
Can you please fix this???
Thank you, Diego
