Add on conection failure

Trying to install the Extension for Fire Fox 33.1 and each time I try I am told the add-on could not be downloaded because of a connection failure.

Any suggestions please.

    When on zotero.org, click the lock icon next to the URL. You should see "Verified by: GeoTrust Inc." (or "RapidSSL" on Chrome). If you see something else, let us know what it is, but it's likely that some security software is interfering with Firefox add-on downloads (this would not be limited to Zotero)

    Hi Thank you for your reply, I have done as you have suggested and still have the same problem, the web page that has the add on is verified by GeoTrust.

    I turned off all the security I have Bitdefender total security 2015 and Malwarebites both payed for programs.

    I also tried to install the add on running Safe Mode with networking and had the same result.

    I tried to install an add on from Fire Fox add on's and had no problem the add on installed OK. This was not the Zotero add on.

    Could you tell us specifically what it says under "More Information" when you click on the lock on https://www.zotero.org/download/ ?
    The "Website Identity" and "Technical Details" are relevant, not the Privacy&History part.
