plug in for word does not work

I've read several contributions about this topic.

In Firefox > Tools > Addons, I can see Zotero Word for Windows integration 3.1.17

If I click the OPtion button, it says that the plug-in is not installed. So I click the grey button to install it. And I restart firefox.

When I go to Word to type my article, Zotero does not appear; there is no Addin button, and if I go to File-option-addin, zotero is not listed.

I have a library of zotero files, but no way of citing them in word

    Microsoft Word 2010. Actually, the Add-in box has now appeared, and I was able to add it through Firefox>Tools>Addons. It wasn't there, however, 24 hours after I (repeatedly) tried to download the plug-in on Sunday. Does the computer normally have to do an overnight update to load the plug-in?

    I think everything is fine now, but some users might like to know that the plug-in download is not always instant (unless there is a way of fixing this).

    no, this is not a "it takes a day" issue. Something--most likely a restart--fixed this for you. For most users this works immediately.

    Im french and i dont speak a good english but i ll try.
    I know how to load zotero and the plug word for zotero.

    I bought a new computer and loaded zotero. It succeeded but when i am trying to load the plug word for zotero, there is a problem.

    "The computer tell me" that the module cant be loaded because of no connection to zotero.org.....

    I really dont understand the problem ??

    Do you have any idea abaout this kind of problem ?

    Start a new thread, please (red "Start New Discussion" button at the top left) and describe your problem including the original error messages (in French) and version numbers of all the relevant software (Zotero, Word, OS). Feel free to write in French, though we'll respond in English.
