Zotero crashes more and more often in the same scenario: typing characters into Zotero's main quick search field

This is one such instance

    To start:

    1) Upgrade to the latest version of Firefox, either 33 or 31 ESR. Firefox 24 is no longer maintained and is no longer safe to use.

    2) Upgrade to Zotero 4.0.23.

    If it's still slow after that, provide a Debug ID for an operation that's slow (assuming you mean that it's temporarily freezing, not crashing).

    (And if you mean that you're getting the restart error in the middle pane, that's quite likely an issue that was fixed in 4.0.23.)
